How Ollyball got to the Tank
Ollyball started at the Burke family kitchen table after a ball thrown in the house sent a plate of spaghetti flying. Joe's answer was a ball kids could hit and kick as hard as they want indoors without breaking windows, marking walls or hurting anyone: a high-performance kite-material shell around a patented KrunchCOR® bladder that absorbs the impact.
In 2019, Ollyball won a Toy of the Year Award, the toy industry's top honor. A Shark Tank producer called soon after, and Joe said no. He said no a second time, too. The company wasn't ready yet, and he wanted to build it his own way first. By the time Ollyball walked into the Tank in 2026, it had sold more than 3 million units, earned two U.S. utility patents, reached major retailers in 12 countries and made eight live appearances on QVC.
